There’s a reason why there were 12 baskets of food leftover in the story of the 5,000 men and the loaves and fish.
The 12 wicker baskets also represent the 12 apostles, whose calling it was to share the bread— bread that would never run out or fail to satisfy.
At every mass, the bread is still multiplied and the crowd is filled.
